Welcome to the Heath Lane Medical Centre Website
Through this website we hope to improve our services to all our patients and enable them to find information easily and quickly. You can order repeat prescriptions online, book an appointment, register as a new patient, cancel existing appointments, change your name and address and much more.
Heath Lane Medical Centre was opened in 1995 and there is extensive car parking with easy access for the disabled. On the ground floor there are five consulting rooms, three practice nurse rooms, a treatment room and a minor surgery room as well as rooms for the Counsellor and Phlebotomist. Baby changing facilities and a disabled person’s toilet are sited off the large waiting area. For our patient's convenience we have an independently run pharmacy on site.
The COVID vaccine is slowly being rolled out across the UK. We will contact you when it is the right time for you to come forward, in priority of those who are most vulnerable. Please do not contact the NHS to seek a vaccine before we contact you.

A message from the team
The Team at Heath Lane are still here for you!
Throughout the pandemic all members of staff at Heath Lane have continued to provide care to the community albeit slightly differently. Back in March we moved over to a telephone triage system when our GP’s, ANP’s Practice Nurses and HCA’s triaged any appointments and dealt with what they could via a telephone call/video consultation and brought patients in if they needed to be seen face to face and not displaying any signs of COVID-19 (All patients who needed to be seen face to face but displayed signs of COVID-19 were diverted to the HOT HUB at the Countess of Chester Hospital) We have continuously put the safety of patients and staff at the heart of everything we do and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic and after.
Lately we have had a lot of patients querying if ‘’GP’s are still working?’’ ‘’Why can’t we be seen in person’’ etc.. And the team would like to reassure patients that we are still providing exactly the same service but over different formats to reduce foot fall to the practice and saving patients unnecessary journeys to the practice, we are following national guidance and will continue to do so as is every other GP practice in the area.
We would like to thank you for your cooperation and understanding during these difficult times.
